About Deaf Entrepreneurship Network (DEN)
Deaf Entrepreneurship Network Inc was founded in 2016 to fulfill the need for Deaf entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, nurture and network ideas among like-minded entrepreneurs, investors and the community at large with full access to American Sign Language. We are a startup community dedicated to educating, inspiring, empowering, and connecting Deaf and hard of hearing entrepreneurs with resources needed to launch or grow their business. To accomplish this, we actively partner with different organizations to help aspiring and current entrepreneurs to accomplish their goals.
About the DC Metro Business Leadership Network (DC Metro BLN)
The DC Metro BLN is an employer-led non-profit whose mission is “Driving Success through Disability Inclusion.” We work to do this by changing attitudes and addressing concerns of businesses, using a business-to-business model to provide education, training, and resources so that employers learn how to proactively include people with disabilities in the workforce, marketplace and supply chain. We are one of 30 USBLN® affiliates across the U.S., and in 2017 were named the organization’s Affiliate of the Year, making us the only affiliate to have earned this distinction twice.
